Ecclesiastes 3:1
"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven."
The tree in my yard is turning red. It looks like the mythical Firebird. The leaves catch every ray of sun like a crystal chandelier and sparkle and radiate.
In spring, the white blossoms are fragrant. They open into green leaves of summer. My tree is healthy and strong.
We are similar to trees. Our inner spirits radiate and highlight our outward beauty. Our different seasons of life cause us to bloom and grow.
Unfortunately, not everyone chooses a path of goodness. Their lives reflect the decayed and dying cores of the hollow centers of their spirits. Like dead trees, they will be blown over in the next storm in their lives.
But for those who walk in faith, God nurtures us each day in all seasons of life. He is the creator who has molded us in His image and whose spirit radiates from within our cores and shines outwardly through us, like the autumn colors of a forest of trees. We are yellow and orange and green and brown and red and all other colors under the rainbow. His spirit is evident on all our lives, just as the touch of spring or fall is evident on the trees.
Whatever happens to us in our seasons of life, God will sustain us. He made our lives beautiful and unique. He made our lives lovely, and we have to learn how to embrace our lives and turn our challenges into opportunities, our crises into open doors.
Dear Lord, thank you for creating us in your image and being with us through all seasons of our lives.

The winds of change will shake us, but God will not let us fall.
Wow. I love your writing. Just beautiful...
